A visit and visitor can be edited or canceled from Visitors on the left-hand navigation menu. Navigate to the Visit tab and locate the visit you want to modify.
Editing a Visit
- Navigate to Access > Visitors from the left sidebar.
- Locate the visit you want to edit in the Visitors list.
- Click the three-dot menu icon (⋮) in the Action column on the far right of the visit row.
- Select Edit Visit from the dropdown menu.
- The Edit Visit page will open, displaying all current details for that visit.
Update Visit Information
On the Edit Visit screen, you can modify the following fields:

Host Group and Host Name - Change who will be hosting the visitor.
- If you, or another user within your office, would like to be notified during the visitor's arrival, search and add, or "CC", the user. When you have selected the user it will be added in a gray box below the search field.
- Visit Event Name - Update the subject or reason for the visit.
- Location - Change the destination within your facility.

Date and Time - Modify when the visitor will arrive and depart.
- Select the time that you would like to grant access to your visitor(s). If they arrive prior to the time selected, then they will not be granted access to the turnstiles. If you would like to give them extra time to arrive early, schedule your visit for 15 minutes prior to the start time of your meeting.

Clearance - Update the security access level.
- Selecting a clearance from the dropdown will generate a QR code that grants the visitor access to the floor on which you will meet them.
- Note: Selecting 'Hold in Lobby' means a QR code will not be generated. Instead, the visitor will be held in the lobby when they arrive and must be escorted to the meeting space.

Visitors - Add, remove, or change visitors for this visit.
- Click Add New to add additional visitors or click the X next to a visitor name to remove them from the visit.
- If the guest has visited the building before, you can select their name from the existing visitor database. If they are a new visitor, select the "Add New Visitor" icon.
- Note: To ensure the visitor receives the QR code, please include an email when adding new visitor details.
- You can also import multiple visitors using a CSV file. To do this, select the "Import Visitors" icon.

Recurrence Settings - Adjust if this is a recurring visit.
- Note: If this is a recurring visit, you'll see a blue notification banner at the top stating "You are viewing visit [date] of a recurring visit." Your edits will apply to this instance only.
- Scroll to the bottom and select Update Visit to save your changes.
Canceling a Visit
- Navigate to Access > Visitors from the left sidebar.
- Locate the visit you want to cancel in the Visitors list.
- Click the three-dot menu icon (⋮) in the Action column on the far right of the visit row.
- Select Edit Visit from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll to the bottom of the Edit Visit page.
- Click the Cancel Visit button (red button).
- For recurring visits, click Cancel this and following recurrences to cancel this instance and all future occurrences.
- A confirmation dialog will appear. Review the visit details to ensure you're canceling the correct visit.
- Click Confirm to complete the cancellation.
- You'll be returned to the Visitors list and the visit will be removed from active visits.
Important Notes
- This action cannot be undone—verify you're canceling the correct visit before confirming.
- For recurring visits, you can cancel just this instance or this instance and all future occurrences.
- Consider notifying the visitor before canceling if they may have already arrived or are en route.
